|Chaplaincy||There is a chaplaincy situated at the top of the escalators.|
|Tourist Information||A 24 hour information desk can be found on the main concourse. Information can be contacted on 0191 214 4422.|
|Car Hire||Car hire desks of four major car hire providers can be found opposite domestic arrivals.|
|Cash points||There is a Natwest bank cashpoint adjacent to domestic arrivals, which accepts all major credit and debit cards.|
|Bureaux de change||There are three bureaux operated by Travelex. One is next to WH Smith before security, the second is in international baggage reclaim and the third is in the departure lounge.|
Newcastle Airport Main Terminal
The passenger terminal as it stands today was built during the 1990s. All airlines and passenger flights operate from this terminal.
Check-in desks are located on the ground floor of the terminal building.
- International flights - check in 3 hours prior to departure
- European flights - check in 2 hour prior to departure
- Domestic flights - check in 90 minutes prior to departure
The departure lounge is located on the first floor of the terminal building. There are a number of shops and places to eat in the departure lounge.
Boarding normally begins 30-45 minutes prior to departure.
Left luggage facilities can be found on the ground floor by the check-in desks.
