Newcastle Airport Main Terminal
The passenger terminal as it stands today was built during the 1990s. All airlines and passenger flights operate from this terminal.
Check-in desks are located on the ground floor of the terminal building. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get to the airpot so you can check in, in good time. Use the below as a guide to how soon before departure you should check in:
- International flights – check in 3 hours prior to departure
- European flights – check in 2 hour prior to departure
- Domestic flights – check in 90 minutes prior to departure
The departure lounge is located on the ground floor of the terminal building. There are a number of shops and places to eat in the departure lounge.
Boarding normally begins 30-45 minutes prior to departure.
